LÔBA, a creature…

from the forest, or the clouds,

from a distant land

of light and sea

A shapeless being who comes to tell stories

about everyone and about no one,

in a daring attempt to make bring magic back

to the human eye

 

She sings when words are not enough, speaks when the voice can no longer sing, and howls through the strings of the guitar, the wood of the kalimba, and the skin of the adufe.
